1. Who is responsible for your data?

Finaudax (trade name of Dermo Cosmetics BV), with registered office at Lijsterlaan 5, 3570 Alken, Belgium, registered under Belgian company number (KBO/BCE) BE0896787368, is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect what is necessary to respond to you and deliver our services:

• Contact details you provide yourself via the contact form or demo request: name, company name, business email address, sector, and the content of your message.
• Technical data during a website visit: IP address (shortened/anonymized where possible), browser type, pages visited — solely for the operation and security of the site, not for tracking purposes.
• Client data once you become a client: billing details and the company information needed to build and maintain your custom app.

We do not collect sensitive data (health, political opinions, etc.) and we do not target minors.

3. What do we use your data for?

• To respond to your contact or demo request.
• To prepare and perform a contract with you (legal basis: performance of a contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To comply with our legal accounting and tax obligations (legal basis: legal obligation, art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• To secure the website and keep it technically operational (legal basis: legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We never sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. How long do we keep your data?

• Contact form without follow-up: maximum 12 months after the last contact.
• Client data: for the duration of the contract + the legal retention period for accounting records (typically 7 years in Belgium).
• Technical log files: maximum 12 months.

5. Who has access to your data?

Only authorized Finaudax staff, and — only where strictly necessary — the categories of processors below, each bound by a data processing agreement:

• Hosting provider (EU data center — see section 7).
• Email and accounting software, exclusively EU-based providers where possible.

We never pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), where legally permitted.
• Restrict processing.
• Data portability.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

7. Where is your data stored?

Your data is stored exclusively on servers within the European Union. Your data never leaves Europe. See also our GDPR statement on the homepage.

8. Cookies

This website currently only uses functional/technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (e.g. remembering your language choice). These do not require consent under the ePrivacy directive.

We currently use no analytics, marketing or third-party tracking cookies. Should that change, a cookie banner with granular consent will be added here and this policy will be updated.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. In case of material changes, we inform active clients by email.
